Due to the Mother’s Day Breakfast this Sunday, we will not have Sunday School. However, if you want to peek ahead, we will be doubling up our lessons on May 19th.First, we will teach the children that Jesus, our risen Savior, ascended into heaven to prepare a place for us there with Him (Acts 1:1–11). As a family, talk about heaven and what it will be like. Look up passages in God’s Word that speak of heaven, especially look atRevelation 22. Ask the children to tell you about Jesus’ ascension and what it means for them.
Then, we will teach the children that at Pentecost, God sent the Holy Spirit to His Church (Acts 2:1–21).
