The season of Advent begins today! During Advent we take a bit more time to hear the preaching of Holy Scripture describe how and why God came into the world to redeem us through the Christ Child. On the three Wednesdays before Christmas (5,12,19) we will have a soup supper at 6PM followed by an Advent Vesper service at 7:15PM. If you can make and bring soup or a dessert for our Advent Soup Suppers, sign up on the sheet on the board in the narthex.
